Updates on game developement and more...

Hello~ Welcome to my blog! If you're reading this you probably already know me and so let's cut it short:
I'm here to talk about the developement of Project Gyoku ~ Sinful Reflections.

The (W.I.P.?) cover!
It's really my first time talking about it in a "public" space, and so I will try to summarize what it is about - Project Gyoku is a danmaku game I'm currently working on featuring cute furry characters. It's heavily based on the Touhou Project which I hope does not come off as wrong...
The game's music is finished in MIDI form (best played with the SC-88Pro), so here is a few examples:
- Title Screen - Sinful Reflections ~ Concerto of Peccancy
- Stage ?'s Theme - Guilt of Pleasure
- ????????' Theme - Unpowering Sin
(they also play just fine using default Windows Media Player - also I am sorry phone users...)
I also have the story down, all characters written most of the stages' concepts in my head, but my biggest issue so far is that, while I am currently practicing and learning how to draw, I have really bad drawing skills ^^;
So right now I am using a lot of Touhou placeholder sprites and this does heavily slow down the developement... However I can show this!!

So the little fox is called Lloyd Fennvale and he's our protagonist in this story, he lives in a secluded valley called Harmon Hollow in Vesperis, a magical world.
Anyway~ I should probably be able to release a trial version towards June (if I don't get too lazy :P)
Technically-wise the game does not use any sort of game engine but instead relies on DxLib. Totally not like another Touhou-inspired danmaku series...
Making this game is a blast honestly, I am learning many things concerning my hobbies and management and even though it is really hard, I am and will still be trying my best!!
Thank you reading through this entry and I hope that this little snippet of my currently in work project got you gripped!!
Well, it's been a pleasure~ See you next time!!

thank you for your continued support!
